Inspiration

Brick walls are there to stop people from going to the other side until they are sure that’s where they want to be.

  1. Do you think the walls stop people or do they challenge people to cross them? Would they want to go to the other side if there was no wall? I just wonder because people always seem to believe the grass is greener on the other side of the fence and because I have a bit of a rebellious streak I would be challenged to get to the other side of the wall, but without a wall I would be content.

  2. Hi jc71, I think, like the quote says, it depends on how bad they want what’s on the other side. As to your second question, maybe not. I think I’m very similar to you with that rebellious streak. I look back on all of my walls or major challenges in life and think that if they weren’t there, I may not be doing what I’m doing, which is what I always wanted to do in the first place. It just took me almost 50 years to get here! Where has your rebellious streak led you?
